The inspiration behind Sabai Fine Thai began with a simple belief: that the distinctive and vibrant flavours of Thailand deserve to be experienced and appreciated around the world.

In 2004, founder and owner Ms. Nakana (Jongkolnee) Thoboonme, affectionately known as Khun Noo, established Sabai Fine Thai in Singapore with the vision of offering guests a truly authentic Thai fine dining experience.

Drawing on decades of experience in Thai hospitality and restaurant management, she dedicated herself to sharing Thailand’s rich culinary heritage with international diners through refined cuisine, exceptional service, and genuine Thai hospitality.

The name “Sabai” is a Thai word that conveys feelings of comfort, happiness, relaxation and well-being. It perfectly reflects our philosophy—that every guest should leave feeling welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease.

At Sabai, authenticity begins with our ingredients. Many of our herbs, spices, and signature ingredients are carefully sourced from Thailand to preserve the true flavours of Thai cuisine. Every dish is freshly prepared using traditional recipes, time-honoured techniques, and the finest seasonal produce, while embracing contemporary presentation that reflects the elegance of modern Thai fine dining.
